Deviation Actions
Hello, Deviants! This is Indigo Bunny with this month's news!
"Doctor Who" has announced that the 13th Doctor will be...a woman! Congratulations, BBC, you just broke Tumblr! The Doctor will be played by "Broadchurch" star Jodie Whittaker. Eat your heart out, David Tennant!
In other news, "Star vs. The Forces of Evil" will air its third season this November, so we're going to have such an eventful school year. If you watched the movie, I know that feeling. But if you haven't, you're missing out the fun.
YouTuber and "Bizaardvark" star Jake Paul and his Team 10 are getting sued for performing dangerous stunts and disturbing the peace. If he eventually gets filed and Disney fires him, will "Bizaardvark" be cancelled? If so, we won't miss it.
Do you still miss "Regular Show"? Well don't be sad, fellas, because its creator J.G. Quintel made a brand new show on TBS, "Close Enough"! It's like "Regular Show" but with more humans and adult content! So remember to keep those kiddos in bed, unless they're 14 and up!
That's all the news I have for this month! I'm the Indigo Bunny saying, "Stay 'toon-ed'!"
Strange Hill High
About nine years ago, Netflix streamed a British kids' series called Strange Hill High. Three kids Mitchell, Becky and Templeton embark on supernatural adventures while uncovering the many secrets of their school. It's fun to watch. Also, the style is unique because it combines puppetry, Japanese vinyl toys, and digital effects. Why am I bringing it up? It turns out that Templeton is played by Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd, The Watch). It was one of his first animated roles. I always thought that Templeton had an interesting voice. It's now coming back to me...
The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder
We all grew up watching The Fairly OddParents in the 2000s. It might have gone through seasonal rot, but its classic seasons will always enchant us. Now it has a live-action sitcom. It follows Viv and her stepbrother Roy as they inherit Cosmo and Wanda after Timmy goes off to college. While watching this the first time, I thought, "It's worse than I imagined." Since it comprises the crew behind Henry Danger, Fairly Odder is basically another Nick sitcom. There's laugh tracks, exaggerated characters, and lackluster humor. It lacks the same charm the cartoon has. Remember those live-action movies? They're not connected with Fairly Odder, so I doubt that they are canon. If you have watched Fairly Odder, what are your thoughts on this?
